A camping paradise camping by the Sarrans reservoir

The ultimate destination for an unforgettable holiday is to be found in the middle of the Aveyron, Cantal and Aubrac triangle, as this is where Camping La Source is located. A real holiday paradise awaits you on the edge of the Sarrans reservoir. Take a refreshing dip in the lake or instead choose the lovely swimming pool. The terraced campsite is popular among families who enjoy a holiday a bit further away from mass tourism. What makes it ideal is the fact that the campsite is located in an enchanting area where the countryside and intriguing culture merge together!

Panoramic views

Imagine waking up to a gentle breeze wafting through your tent, caravan or rental accommodation. Open your eyes and enjoy panoramic views across the shimmering lake and picturesque Laussac peninsula. This is possible at Camping La Source.

Swimming pool or reservoir?

You will see the large swimming pool the moment you arrive at the campsite. This is a great way to start your holiday with a refreshing dip. A heat pump ensures that the water is always pleasant, even on cooler days. You can of course also relax and enjoy the sun as there are plenty of sun loungers around the pool. If you prefer natural swimming water, the Sarrans reservoir is a stone's throw away. The lake is easy to reach, and in July and August there is a trail of inflatables in the lake especially for the children!

Sample the local specialities

After a day of fun and adventure in the water, you might want to visit the campsite's restaurant. This is the place to get acquainted with local specialities or enjoy homemade pizzas. You won't have to leave the campsite for breakfast or lunch either, and in high season you can even have fresh rolls delivered to your camping pitch. There is also a shop on the campsite for basic supplies. The facilities at La Source campsite are excellent. The toilet facilities are well maintained and there is a laundry room with several washing machines and a dryer.

Stargazing and waterfalls

There is always something to do at this campsite. There is a multi-sports field for a game of jeu de boules or exciting tennis tournaments. If you love being on water you can rent canoes and pedal boats to explore the lake. Daredevils can also admire the lake from the ropeway suspended above the water. In high season there is a mini club for the little ones and sporting events and music evenings are organised for the whole family.

There is also plenty to see in the area. For example, go out and discover the waterfalls. And don’t go to sleep the moment it gets dark. On clear days, gazing at the starry sky is a wonderful way to end your day.
