At Camping Porton Nature Hideout, you are offered the best of that which Istria has to offer every day. The historic city can be seen from your spot on the beach. And the wonderfully clear water is great not only for diving and swimming laps but is ideal for snorkelling as well. And there is plenty to explore under water.

A warm dip

Camping Porton Nature Hideout lies only 200 metres from the Adriatic Sea. All you have to do is cross the street. This means that a refreshing dip is always nearby – not a luxury at times with the hot Croatian sun. Because the sun is high in the heavens so often, the water here warms up quickly. This means that the temperature of the water is very pleasant during the summer months.

Cocktail with a view

There is yet another reason to go to the beach during your holiday. From your chaise longue or towel, you have a magnificent view of one of the most beautiful cities in Croatia: Rovinj. There is also a cocktail bar and a snack bar at the beach for the necessary refreshments. And while you take a seat on a chaise longue and sneak in an extra cocktail, the children can enjoy themselves in and around the water.

The campsite also has entertainment for the children. There is a new playground with fun equipment. The park also has an amazing massage salon with certified masseurs that will help you relax completely. Or use the fast wifi to watch your favourite series or movie from your own spot at the campsite.

For your shopping, you need not leave the campsite. There is a shop at the entrance of the park that sells delicious fresh bread for breakfast every morning. Evening meals can be prepared by yourself, using the BBQ (gas or electric). Another option is the restaurant at the campsite, where you will become acquainted with delicious local dishes.

Istria – very impressive

Istria is a colourful peninsula. One of the most beautiful cities in Istria is within walking distance of the campsite. The historic city of Rovinj was once an island, and the romantic old city is still surrounded by water for the most part. You can wander through the picturesque streets for hours on end, enjoying a bite to eat and a drink at one of the outdoor cafes. The cities of Poreč (35 km) and Pula (50 km) are definitely worth a day trip. Both cities allow you to become immersed in the ancient Roman culture, with many structures from that time still to be found.
