Rest and relaxation on the Noordzeestrand

There is plenty of room on the spectacular sandy beach at Callantsoog. Embrace the peace and space during a relaxing holiday in the dunes at holiday park Roompot Callantsoog. Walk to the beach

Both the beach as well as the centre are within walking distance from holiday park Roompot Callantsoog. Wake up in one of the luxury lodges and start the day with a delicious breakfast on the veranda. Then it is time to load up the handcart and go to the beach.
After a day at the seaside, it is lovely to come back to your holiday accommodation that is equipped with all the conveniences. Time to laze about or a perfect moment to spend time with your family. Wi-Fi is free throughout the park, by the way!

Playing and dancing at the Kids Club

During a beach holiday, children often need little more than a bucket and spade. At yet, there are plenty of fun things to do at the holiday park. There are sports fields and a playground, for example. The park is car free so children can play outside without a worry.
If you are looking for more entertainment, an enthusiastic entertainment team is ready to play and dance with children of all ages. If you have worked up an appetite after all those fun things, the park has a brasserie, a takeaway and a small supermarket, among other things.

Charming village square

Callantsoog has a lovely atmosphere, is friendly and hospitable. There is almost always something to do on the charming village square and there are more than enough lovely pavement cafés and eateries. There is a street market and fair every Wednesday evening in the summer. From the centre, it is just a few minutes' walk and your feet will be in the sand. The Zwanenwater dune region is a brilliant place for people who like taking lovely walks.

Out and about

What are we going to do? How about going to the exciting Fort Kijkduin? Here, you follow in the footsteps of Napoleon and come face to face with rays and sharks. This most exciting fortress in the Netherlands is 15 kilometres from Callantsoog. Furthermore, Callantsoog is the perfect starting point for lovely cycle rides through the dunes, for example to Julianadorp aan Zee, Den Helder, Bergen aan Zee, Schoorl or Texel. You can hire bikes with or without a child bike seat at reception.

Bulb fields

The bulb fields around Callantsoog are in bloom from mid-April to mid-May. That makes a holiday at this location extra special. The bulb fields are not only a treat for the eyes, but the fields where the hyacinths bloom also smell wonderful. Get on the bike and let the colourful landscape amaze you. Don't forget to take your camera with you to get the best pictures with your family.
