Camping Domaine de Labeiller is in the region of Gard, between the Ardèche and the Cevennes. It is a quiet and tranquil campsite in a natural green environment, an ideal place to relax. And you benefit from all the luxury that this holiday village has to offer. The wonderful water park has a number of pools with slides, fountains and water jets, a river rapids ride, hot tub and paddling pool. In the high season, this small water paradise is open until 22.00. Furthermore, you can do various sports, play video games and there is a play area for children. There is also plenty of room for family tournaments. The entertainment team organises all kinds of tournaments and entertaining activities for the whole family, also in the evenings. The campsite also has a lovely fishing lake. You can go to the restaurant for delicious food. Don't forget it's paella night on Thursdays! And if you sit on the café's patio, you have a great view of the swimming pool. If you don't feel like cooking, then don't panic, you can also grab a snack. And in the early mornings, you can enjoy fresh bread rolls and croissants. You can get basic groceries in the charming village of Saint-Victor-de-Malcap that is at walking distance. The larger supermarkets are three kilometres away in Saint-Ambroix.
At less than a kilometre away is the Cèze River, where you and your children can refresh yourselves or step into a kayak or canoe and go for a paddle. The city of Nîmes (Denim jeans), town of Uzès (sweet museum) and the papal city of Avignon are formidable destinations for enjoying a pavement café and for experiencing life as a god in France. Other tips for day trips are the Fumades spa, Goudargues with all its water, the unique and incredible Cave of the Salamander and Chauvet Cave, where you can see how people lived here 36,000 years ago in the adjacent Galérie de l’Aurignacien. Enjoy the beautiful Cèze Valley, with grapevines, gems of villages, castles and lavender fields. Anduze has an exceptional bamboo garden and do not miss the steam train in this area. It is a remarkable experience for children with all the tunnels and bends. The beauty of the Cevennes can be seen everywhere, just like that of the Ardèche, which is slightly more rugged and perfectly suitable for all kinds of outdoor activities. Don't forget to visit one of the local markets, a wonderful way to spent some time.
